Masso Vase
An object of considerable presence.
The Masso is built from an interlocking geometric surface pattern — precise, mathematically derived, impossible to replicate in ceramic. The shadows within the pattern shift with the light, making the vase appear carved from a single material of considerable density.
In charcoal it is architectural and deliberate — an anchor for any surface it occupies. In sand it is warmer, closer to unglazed pottery, a different mood entirely but no less considered.
The tall version is a statement object. Place it on a floor, a plinth, or a sideboard that can hold its ground. The small version works in pairs or alongside the Stria Vase Pair.
