Lucé Vase
A form that holds its ground.
The Lucé is a full-bodied vase — wide at the belly, drawn up into a clean narrow neck with a quietly considered opening. The surface is covered in flowing diagonal ribs that gather into a diamond cross-hatch across the widest point before fanning outward toward the neck. The pattern moves with the form rather than sitting on top of it.
In terracotta it reads as hand-thrown clay — warm, present, unhurried. In grey it is cooler, more architectural, a different mood entirely. Both are correct.
Belongs to The Meridian Edit. Place it on a sideboard with a single dried stem of pampas or nothing at all. Either works.
